OUR TIMELINE
Our story began in 2018, officially as Fanatix Pty (Ltd) T/A Woodgineers, in a garage in Maun, Botswana. Back then, we were building furniture for Africa Wild lodges. After a powerful storm tore through Kadizora Camp, we packed up our makeshift workshop and moved on-site to carry out the repairs. While working there, a second storm hit — expanding our original scope of work. This project became our first official undertaking as the company known then as Woodgineers.
Our involvement at Saguni Camp had started earlier as more of a consultancy effort, even before the company was formally registered. From Kadizora, we moved on to North Island.
Over time, we’ve grown wiser, better equipped, and most importantly, built a strong, dedicated team.
In April 2025, Woodgineers officially rebranded as Far-Out Projects — the same team, same passion, with a fresh identity.
